"Hi, I’m Steve Kramer of the New Future Divorce & Family Law Firm. I am a Florida family and divorce attorney and today we’re gonna talk about why would our firm turn away your case or reject your case. The first thing that you need to know about our firm is that we’re an aggressive firm and we’re gonna fight for your rights but when it comes to family law and divorce, we’re not out for war, we’re not out for blood. If you’re looking for an attorney like that, we’re not the right people for you. The next thing you need to know is that we would rather help you have a civilized divorce – and that’s kind of a corollary to what we just mentioned. We want a civilized divorce because in my experience, the people that usually suffer the most damage in a divorce where it turns into an all-out war are a) the children, and b) the parties themselves meaning you, the husband or the wife. Now, with that in mind, the next point you need to know is that we don’t children used as leverage. If you’re looking for an attorney to use your children as a hostage in negotiating with the other side, that’s not us either. That’s not what we’re here to do. We’re here to help out your family.

We’re here to help you get through this process. We’re here to advocate on the economic issues that are important to you like alimony and what’s called “equitable distribution” which is basically the division of the assets, and that’s what we want to do. The other thing you need to know is that in any case that we handle, we require good communication and honesty from our clients. We want to have an open relationship and it’s important that we set that up from the beginning because we wanna do our best job, and the way we do our best job is by having good communication and an open chain of communication with you and honesty. And that’s really, really important to us. And then finally, the last but not least issue that we want to make sure we set out right from the beginning is realistic expectations. If you’re thinking that you’re going to see your kid 100% of the time and you never want your kid to see Dad or Mom again, we’re not the right place for you either. We want realistic goals, and we’re here to help you get the realistic goals, and I think you’ll be pleased with the way that we handle divorces. And I think it will be a different experience for you because you’re gonna feel like you’re taken care of, and like you’ve got somebody to go to bat for you. And that’s what we’re here to do, and that’s why I’m telling you this. Because I wanna make sure that if you come to our law firm, we’re gonna be a good fit and a good match for you. So, if you have any other questions, call me – my number is below.
